Since our pioneering founder Jose Ortiguela's decision to found Campo Viejo in the heart of Rioja, we continue to create expressive and characterful wines that celebrate the richness of the region. Grapes: tempranillo 85%, Graciano 10%, and Mazuelo 5%. Tasting: rich aromas of wild cherries, pepper and oak. Balanced and elegant with soft tannins. Ageing: 18 months barrel plus 18 months bottle. Food pairing: Beef or lamb, grilled foods, strong cheese. Serve at: 61-63degrees F. 750ml. The natural stabilization process may result in precipitates appearing in the bottle. www.campoviejo.com.
