Directions

Keep frozen. Cooking instructions: Microwave: Combine desired amount of frozen vegetables and 3 tablespoons of water in a microwave-safe casserole dish; cover. Microwave on high for 8 - 10 minutes* or to desired tenderness, stirring halfway through cooking time. Let stand 2-3 minutes. Standing time is important for safety and quality. Check for cold spots and continue cooking, if needed. *Microwave cooking times may vary from one oven to another. For best results, consult owners manual. Stovetop: Bring 1/3 cup water to a boil in saucepan. Add desired amount of frozen vegetables. Bring to a second boil. Stir; cover and reduce heat. Simmer 10-13 minutes or to desired tenderness, stirring occasionally. Do not overcook. Drain, season to taste and serve. To store: Keep frozen until ready to use. If thawed, cook promptly. Store at 0 degrees F (-18 degrees C). Check freezer temperature with thermometer and adjust controls as needed.
