Easy to Apply: Insert hand into sleeve. Slide sprint loosely over wrist. Fasten bottom and top closures, do not fasten middle strap. Keep wrist steady while thermoplastic hardens. Once thermoplastic has hardened (10 minutes), fasten middle strap. Heating Instructions: 1. Remove splint from plastic bag and place on provided tray in the middle of the microwave. 2. Heat for 15 seconds (600-700 watt microwave). Check the splint to ensure it's warm, not hot, and thermoplastic is evenly pliable (soft to the touch). 3. If needed, heat splint on tray in additional increments of 10 seconds until thermoplastic is evenly pliable. Caution: To avoid burns, do not overheat and allow 5 minutes to cool after microwaving. Molding is not instantaneous and will not harden during the cooling time. Do not use with analgesic products. Do not use on broken or sensitive skin. Molding Instructions: 1. Slide splint loosely over wrist. 2. Fasten bottom and top closures, do not fasten middle strap. Remove splint immediately if too hot. 3. Lightly massage thermoplastic to conform to wrist and then keep wrist steady until thermoplastic has hardened (-10 minutes) 4. Once thermoplastic hardens, fasten middle strap.
