Directions

Instructions for use: 1. Make sure that meat and poultry are thoroughly thawed before inserting the thermometer. 2. Preheat oven thoroughly. 3. Insert the thermometer into the thickest part of the meat or poultry. The stem should be inserted at least 1 inch into the meat or poultry but not in contact with the bone or gristle. 4. Place the meat or poultry in the oven, positioned so that you can read the dial through the oven door with the light on. Avoid opening the oven door frequently. 5. When the thermometer reaches the desired temperature, remove the meat or poultry from the oven. Cleaning and Care: Always allow the thermometer to cool to room temperature before cleaning and storing. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Grease or other hard-to-remove soil can be removed with a scouring pad.
