Directions

Cooking Instructions: Stove-top Method: 1 1/2 cups water, 1 cup Diamond G Calrose Rice, 1 tablespoon butter (optional), 1/2 teaspoon salt. Bring water to a boil. Stir in rice, butter, and salt. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until all liquid is absorbed, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, 10 minutes. Uncover and fluff with fork. Makes 3 1/2 cups or 4-6 servings. Oven Method: 1 cup Diamond G Calrose Rice, 1 tablespoon butter (optional), 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 1/2 cups boiling water. Place rice, butter, and salt in a 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Pour boiling water over rice. Cover and bake at 325 degrees F until all liquid is absorbed, about 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand, covered, 10mins. Uncover and fluff with fork. Makes 3 1/2 cups or 4-6 servings. Peel and reseal tape.
