Feeding Guidelines: Bob Timberlake Signature Series Super-Premium dog food can be fed right from the bag or mixed with water or broth. If mixing, combine one part liquid with four parts food. Always have fresh, clean water available for your dog. Mature dogs should be fed once or twice per day. The amount of food depends upon your dog's age, weight, activity level and temperament. Find your dog's approximate weight on the chart to help determine the amount of food you should feed daily. Dog Size (lb.) - No of 8 oz Cups* Toy (3-12) : 1/2 -3/4. Small (12-25) : 3/4 - 1 1/2. Medium (25-50) : 1 1/3 - 2 1/4. Large (50-100) : 2 1/4 - 4 1/3. Very large (100+) : 4 1/3 - 7 +1/2 cup/10 lbs. Pregnant or nursing dogs may require 1 1/2-3 times the normal daily intake for adult dogs. Food amounts should be adjusted according to appetite, body condition, and number of puppies being nursed. Nursing pups are ready to start nibbling on moistened soft food at three to four weeks of age. Add one part warm water, milk, or broth to three parts dry food, mix until soft. Allow the puppies to eat as much as they want. Puppies should be fed 4 times per day, until they are three months of age. From three to six months of age, they should be fed 2-3 times per day. From six months to one year, twice a day. Dogs kept outdoors during cold winter months may require 35-50% more food. Hot weather may decrease your dog's appetite. *One 8oz measuring cup equals 3.52 oz (100 grams).
