Safety spring. Premium squeeze safety knife. Auto retract mechanisim. Blade lock mechanism. Ergonomic trigger squeeze. To change blade. Unlock the knife with the black unlock switch. Press and hold the red blade change button, then squeeze and hold the black trigger to expose the blade holder then remove the blade. While continuing to squeeze the trigger, insert a new blade. Gently pull on the blade to determine if it is securely in position, then release the trigger. Limited life warranty. If this product ever fails, stanley will replace it.
