Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cook before eating. Cooking Instructions: Remove chorizo from casing, crumble into a shallow skillet and cook in its own juices over medium heat for approximately 8 minutes (Product to be cooked to internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit). After chorizo is thoroughly cooked, add 3 to 4 eggs per 12 ozs. of chorizo. Stir eggs and chorizo lightly until ready and serve. Make 4 to 6 servings. Serving Suggestions: With eggs and served best with flour or corn tortillas. Keep refrigerated.
