For food safety and quality, follow the cooking directions. Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 160°F as measured by an instant-read food thermometer. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Adjust cook times and heat settings as needed. Refrigerate leftovers. Stove-top directions: Heat 1/2 cup water to boiling in 2-quart saucepan. Add kale; return to boiling. Reduce heat. Cover; simmer 7 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked. Drain. Microwave directions: Pour 1/4 cup water and kale into 1 1/2-quart round microwavable casserole dish. Cover; microwave on high according to chart, stirring halfway through cook time, until thoroughly cooked. Uncover carefully; stir well. Drain if necessary. Microwave wattage* ... Time on high. 1200 ... 8 Minutes. 1000 ... 9 Minutes. 700 ... 10 Minutes. *Microwave wattages vary; adjust cook time for the wattage of your microwave. Do not leave microwave unattended.
