Reusable filtered flanged earplugs. Patented EarLock retention rings comfortably lock earplugs in place. Filters reduce loud noises while allowing conversations to be heard. Industrial. Airplane. Concerts. Swimming. Hunting. Law enforcement. Range. Military. The world's ultimate hearing protection. Concha bowl. 1. Patented Earlock retention rings comfortably lock earplugs in place. 2. Curved, adjustable stems conform to the natural shape of the ear canal for superior fit and comfort. 3. Noise-reducing filters lower dangerous noises while allowing conversations to be heard with attached filter caps out. Filter caps can be inserted for maximum protection. Single number rating: Filters open: 19 dB: H = 22 dB; M = 16 dB; L = 11dB. Filters closed: 27 dB: H = 28 dB; M = 24 dB; L = 24 dB. See enclosed manual for EPA and attenuation information the level of noise entering a person's ear, when hearing protector is worn as directed, is closely approximated by the difference between the a-weighted environmental noise level and the NRR. Example: 1. The environmental noise level as measured at the ear is 92 dBa. 2. The NRR is 24 decibles [dB]. 3. The level of noise entering the ear is approximately equal to 68 dBA. Medium EP4s fit most people. Size is based on dimension of the concha bowl. Small: less than 1; Medium: 1 inch; Large: more than 1 inch. Filters open: Noise reduction rating: 12 decibels (when used as directed): The range of noise reduction ratings for existing hearing protectors is approximately 0 to 30 (higher numbers denote greater effectiveness). Filters closed: Noise reduction rating: 24 decibels (when used as directed): the range of noise reduction ratings for existing hearing protectors is approximately 0 to 30 (higher numbers denote greater effectiveness). CE listed. Federal Law prohibits removal of this label prior to purchase EPA Label required by U.S. E.P.A regulation 40 CFR part 211, Subpart B. www.surefire.com. Made in U.S.A.Nutrition Facts

Caution: for noise environments dominated by frequencies below 500 Hz, the c-weighted environmental noise level should be used. Improper fit of this device will reduce its effectiveness in attenuating noise. Consult the enclosed instructions for proper fit. Although hearing protectors can be recommended for protection against the harmful effects of impulsive noise, the noise reduction rating [NRR] is based on the attenuation of continuous noise and may not be an accurate indicator of the protection attainable against impulsive noise such as gunfire. See enclosed manual for impulsive noise testing data.Manufacturer
