Cooking Instructions: Note: For drier rice, remove 1/4 cup water. For moister rice, add 1/4 cup more water. On the stove: 1. In a medium saucepan, add 1 cup golden star jasmine rice to 1-1/2 cups water. 2. Cover with a tight fitting lid and bring to a full boil. Do not uncover while cooking. 3. Lower heat to simmer jasmine rice for 20 minutes, stirring once. 4. Remove from heat and let saucepan cool for 5 minutes, then fluff rice with fork and serve. In The Microwave: In a microwave bowl, add 1 cup Golden Star jasmine rice to 1-3/4 cups water. Microwave the jasmine rice, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate. Fluff rice with fork and serve.
