Why you should use this product: this product raises the pH of swimming pool water. The ideal pH range is 7.2-7.8. Maintaining ph in the proper range will: Allow your sanitizer to work more effectively. Reduce equipment corrosion. Reduce eye irritation. Reduce skin dryness. Directions for use: read all precautions before use. Before adding this product to your pool: 1. Measure ph of pool water with an Hth® test kit. 2. The ph should be measured each time a sanitizer is added. 3. Use the table shown to determine the correct amount of this product. How to add this product to your pool: 1. Scatter this product over the pool surface. 2. Keep the circulation pump running. 3. Check the pH again after 2 hours. 4. Repeat treatment if necessary. How to prevent pH variations or buffering: 1. Keep the total alkalinity between 60-120 parts per million (ppm). 2. Each month, test total alkalinity with an Hth 6-way test kit. Squeeze cap sides. Squeeze hard. While unscrewing.

Warnings

Keep out of reach of children.
Caution: irritant. Harmful if swallowed.
Add only into water and do not mix with other chemicals.
Storage and disposal:
Keep this product in its tightly closed container when not in use.
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.
Do not reuse empty container.
Rinse empty container by placing it under water in the pool. Repeat several time.
Recycle if possible or place in trash collection.
Do not contaminate lakes, ponds, or streams by cleaning of equipment or disposing of waste.
First aid:
If inhaled: remove individual to fresh air. Seek medical attention of breathing becomes difficult or it respiratory irritation develops. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Call for medical assistance.
If on skin: immediately flush skin with plenty of water for 15 minutes. If clothing comes in contact with the product, the clothing should be removed immediately and laundered before re-use. Seek medical attention.
If in eyes: immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention immediately.
If swallowed: call a physician immediately. Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by a physician. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
