Directions

Baking Instructions: Frozen Fruit Pies (Standard Gas-Fried Oven): 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 2. Cut 8 slits in top crust, approximately 1/2 inch each. 3. Place frozen pie on metal tray or baking screen and place on shelf in lower half of oven. 4. Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 400 degrees F or until crust is a rich golden brown color. 5. Remove pie from oven on tray or use a pie carrier. Carefully transfer pies to cooling rack. Frozen Fruit Pies (Electric Oven): 1. Preheat oven to 430 degrees F. 2. Cut 8 slits in top crust, approximately 1/2 inch each. 3. Place frozen pies one metal tray or baking screen and place in oven. 4. After loading oven, reduce temperature to 400 degrees F. 5. Follow instructions 4 and 5 above. Frozen Fruit Pies (Convection Oven): 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees - 400 degrees F depending upon convection oven type. 2. Cut 8 slits in top crust, approximately 1/2 inch each. 3. Place frozen pie on metal tray or baking screen. Load pies in oven and leave blower fan on. 4. Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until crust is a golden brown color. Convection (forced draft) ovens will bake faster and at lower temperature. Frozen Pumpkin & Custard Pies (Standard Gas-Fired Oven): 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 2. Place frozen pie on metal tray or baking screen. Place tray on shelf in lower half of oven. 3. Bake 50 to 65 minutes until crust is nicely browned and pumpkin filling is set. 4. Custard filling must be baked until all but a 2 inch to inch center of filling is set. Custard filling will continue to set up while cooking. 5. Remove pie from oven on tray or use pie carrier. Carefully transfer pies to cooling rack. Frozen Pumpkin & Custard Pies (Electric Oven): 1. Preheat oven to 430 degrees F. 2. Place frozen pies on metal tray or baking screen and place in oven. 3. After loading oven, reduce temperature to 400 degrees F. 4. Follow instructions, 3, 4 and 5 above. Frozen Pumpkin & Custard Pies (Convection Oven): 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees - 380 degrees F depending upon convection oven type. 2. Place frozen pie on metal tray or baking screen. Load pies in oven and leave blower fan on. 3. Bake 45 to 60 minutes or until all but a 2 inch to 3 inch center of filling is set. Pumpkin and custard filling will continue to set-up while cooling. 4. Remove pie from oven on tray or use pie carrier. Carefully transfer pies to cooling rack. In-store shelf stable up to 3 days, refrigerate at home.
