Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw on refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Basic Thawing Directions (optional): Refrigerator: Place unopened bag or portion needed (covered with plastic wrap) in a large bowl or pan. Refrigerate on bottom shelf overnight. Quick Thaw: 1. Seal frozen thighs in a plastic bag after removing as much air as possible. 2. Place sealed bag in a bowl in the sink. 3. Run cold water over the thighs until submerged, replacing cold water every 30 minutes, until thighs are thawed (approximately 1 hour). 4. Cook and consume immediately. Bake, grill or pan-fry chicken thighs from a thawed or frozen state. Follow safe handling instructions, and cook chicken thoroughly until the internal temperature at the thickest part reaches 180 degrees F as measured with a meat thermometer. Keep frozen.
