Directions

Basic Stock Directions: Dissolve 1 teaspoon Clam Base in 8 oz boiling water. For each quart of stock needed, use 1-1/2 tablespoons Clam Base. For Clam Chowder: In soup pot combine 2 cups half & half or milk, 2 - 6 1/2 oz. cans of chopped or minced clams with juice, 2 medium potatoes, diced, 1 large onion, diced, 2 tablespoons flour, 2 tablespoons Superior Touch Clam Base and a dash of pepper. Bring to a boil while stirring, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Makes about 5 - 8 oz. servings. For best results, refrigerate after opening.
