Cook thoroughly. Preparation Instructions: Remove frozen tamales from package. For Best Quality and Food Safety, Follow These Cooking Instructions: Keep frozen until ready to use. Cook thoroughly before eating. Do not prepare in conventional or toaster oven. Use caution as product will be hot! Appliance temperatures may vary. Please consider the performance of your appliance when following these instructions. Microwave Oven (1200 Watts): Place 1 husk wrapped tamale in microwave. Cook on high for 3 minutes. Relax for 1 minute, remove husk, then conquer the craving! Steaming: Place about 1 inch of water into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Arrange 4 husk wrapped tamales in the steam basket and place in saucepan. Cover tightly and steam for 25 minutes. Relax for 1 minute, remove husk, then conquer the craving! Check that product is cooked thoroughly. Internal temperature needs to reach 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer. Keep frozen.
