Product Details

Coffee mongers since 1975. The highest mountain in Maine, "Katahdin" is a Penobscot Indian word meaning "the great mountain". Now it means great coffee, too! It's the friendly cup. Hard working. Unpretentious. Just like Maine. We select 100% high grown Arabica coffee beans from some of the world's best growers. Then we fire roast them in small batches here on the coast of Maine. Take a break. Enjoy the coffee. And the view. The friendly cup. State Bird: Black-Capped Chickadee. Length: 4.7-5.9 inches. Wingspan: 6.3-8.3 inches. The chickadee's black cap and bib; white cheeks; gray back, wings, and tail; and whitish underside with buffy sides are distinctive. Call: “Chickadee-dee-dee”. State Tree: Eastern White Pine. Pinus Strobus. In mixed forests, this dominant tree towers over many others, including some of the large broadleaf hardwoods. Mature trees are often 200-250 years old, and some live to over 400 years. Seed Pod: Pinecone 3.25-6.3 inches. Long and 1.5-2 inches broad when open. Katahdincoffee.com. Compost: Please note coffee grounds are fully biodegradable and make rich compost.
