Air roasted Sweet Dreams decaffeinated beans originate from Columbia’s coffee triangle. This air roasted bean delivers middle of the road sweetness, body and acidity with lovely notes of almond, orange and Baker's chocolate. We use the chemical free Swiss water process to decaffeinate our beans. The result is decaffeinated coffee beans that taste like real coffee, not harsh solvent. The coffee is planted at 1500 meter elevation with the main harvest taking place from October to January. The mitaca harvest happens between April and June. Our beans come from small family-owned farms in the Colombian "coffee triangle". The small coffee producers pick and process their coffee at their own micro wet mills and then dry their own coffee, typically on elevated tables inside solar dryers that provides protection from the rain.
