Venetian mask: 1. Fold a piece of foam in half and trace out half of a mask. 2. Cut the shape out with scissors and unfold it to reveal a symmetrical mask/. 3. Decorate the mask using anything and everything available in your craft box. Idea 2 butterfly: 1. Cut a piece of foam about 4x6 inches. Roll it into a tube shape and glue it together. 2. Cut to length 2 pipe cleaners for the tentacles and apply a small plastic bead colored or uncolored to the end of each pipe cleaner. 3. Attach the pipe cleaners to one end of the tube on the inside. 4. Cut 2 wing shaped pieces of felt sheets. Then stick to either side of the tube. 5. Apply 2 googly eyes to top of the tube just below the tentacles and draw a mouth using a black pen. Idea 3 cheeky spider: 1. Find a large pom pom that you would like to use as the base of your spider. Cut 6 to 8 pipe cleaners as legs and bend into an s shape. 2. Glue one end of the legs to the pom pom at evenly spaced intervals along the side. 3. Stick on 2 googly eyes to the front. 4. Cut a long curved piece of red foam for the tongue and attach just below the eyes. Idea 4 cuddly caterpillar: 1. Choose a selection of different colored pom poms. 2. Stick the pom poms together in a row, dependant on how long you would like your caterpillar to be. 3. Stick 2 googly eyes onto the head or first in the row of the pom poms. 4. Cut 2 small pipe cleaner legs for each pom pom and 2 for the antennas. 5. Bend the pipe cleaners to shape and stick them to the body and head of the caterpillar. Add 2 plastic beads to the ends of the antennas. Idea 5 fluffy decoration: 1. Select a large pom pom. 2. Cut a strip of colored feltsheet, cut to length. Loop in half and stick the 2 ends to the pom pom. 3. Take a colorful selection of small pom poms and stick to that large pom pom randomly and covering completely.
