Directions

Cooking directions: Simmer: put contents of package in 1 cup boiling water and bring to a second boil. Separate with fork, if necessary, for uniform cooking. Reduce heat and cover; simmer 4 to 5 minutes, until just tender. Do not overcook. Drain and season to taste. Steam: put contents of package in vegetable steamer and place over boiling water. Cover and steam 6 to 8 minutes, until just tender. Half-way through cooking time, separate with fork, if necessary, for uniform cooking. Season to taste. Microwave ovens: put contents of package in 1-1/2 quart microwave-safe dish with 2 tablespoons water. Cover and cook on high for 4 minutes*. Separate with fork and cook 4 minutes longer. Season to taste. *Microwave cooking times may vary from one oven to another. For best results, consult owners manual. To store: keep frozen until ready to use. If thawed, cook promptly. Store at 0 degrees F. Check freezer temperature with thermometer and adjust controls as needed. Keep frozen.
