Permatex threadlockers fixture in approximately 20 minutes and are fully cured within 24 hours. Permatex surface prep activator reduces fixture time to 5 minutes. Preceding values are for 3/8 inch - 16 steel as received nuts and bolts at 72 degrees F (22 degrees C). 1. Clean and dry parts using Permatex surface prep activator. 2. Shake threadlocker before each use. 3. Remove cap and snip nozzle tip. 4. Apply to threaded areas and assemble parts. Refer to technical data sheet for complete information. Note: Threadlocker is for use on metal parts and is not to be used on plastics. For red threadlocker, cured product must be heated to 500 degrees F (260 degrees C) before parts will separate.
