Estate bottled. D.O. Maipo Valley. Santa Rita is broadly recognized as an international ambassador for world class Chilean wines. Since our foundation in 1880, Santa Rita has focused on crafting superb quality wines becoming one of Chile's most admired, traditional and innovative wine estates. This single vineyard wine is called Casa Real in honor of the noble title, granted three centuries ago by the King of Spain to the founding family of Santa Rita. The wine is concentrated, with rich flavors and remarkable length. We achieve by hand - harvesting very low yields from fine vineyard planted in the '50 in the heart of the Maipo Valley that favors a highly concentrated and strong bodied wine. Attention to detail is maintained through the use of new French oak barrels and careful maturation. The wine remains unfiltered to preserve as much of the natural attributes of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape as possible. It may, therefore, contain some fine sediment. We recommended decanting prior to serving at cellar temperature. Alc. 14% by vol. 28 Produced and bottled by SA Vina Santa Rita Santiago.
