Product Details

Pinot Gris was first introduced into the United States when it was planted in the Willamette Valley, where it best performs in our long, cool growing season. The wine is crisp and refreshing, and when paired with salmon, it enhances the flavor of the fish - it is our "salmon wine." These vines were tended by hand and cluster-thinned to increase flavor intensity. The grape clusters were picked at the peak of ripeness and a selection was lightly whole cluster pressed, not crushed. The juice was fermented slowly at cold temperatures to enhance varietal flavor and sur lie aged for added complexity. All of our vineyards are sustainably farmed. Kim Bernau, Founder/Winegrower.
