Microwave (Cooking times may vary due to differences in microwave): 1. In a 2-quart microwave-safe dish, combine 1 cup of rice with 2 cups of water. 2. Cover and microwave on high for 5 minutes. 3. Without removing cover, cook for an additional 15 minutes at half-power. 4. Remove from microwave and let stand covered for 5 minutes before serving. Cooking times may vary due to differences in microwaves. Rice Cooker: Use the same water-rice ratios as for the stove top instructions.
