Preparation Instructions: Stove Top: 1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of rice with 1-1/2 to 1-2/3 cups of water. 2. Bring contents to a boil on medium-high heat uncovered. 3. Reduce heat, cover, and let simmer for 18-20 minutes or until water is absorbed. 4. Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes covered before serving. Microwave (Cook times may vary due to microwave): In a 2 quart microwave safe dish, combine 1 cup of rice with 1-1/2 to 1-2/3 cups of water. 2. Cover and microwave on high for 5 minutes. 3. Without removing cover, cook for an additional 15 minutes at half-power. 4. Remove from microwave and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
