Mount Veeder Reserve Wine

Description

Mount Veeder Winery was the first vineyard in the Napa Valley appellation to have all five of the grape varieties used in a classic Bordeaux blend. Mount Veeder Winery feels that blending is the key to crafting the most complete, balanced wine. Artisanal winemaking skills, beginning with gentle handling in the vineyard and finishing with extended barrel aging in the cellar, ensure the wines are enjoyable upon release, yet capable of graceful aging. Dark garnet in color with aromas of intricately woven dense black currant, black peppercorn, and cardamom lend a very deep and complex aroma. A bursting palate, with a big mouthfeel and structure, stuffed with dark cherry and plum. A powerful flavor wine with grace and restraint, it finishes long with black currant and savory notes. Varietal: 89% cabernet sauvignon, 7% malbec, 4% petit verdot.
