The Columbia Valley covers 18,000 square miles and provides a huge range of geographical and climatic conditions for grape growing.Hogue Cellars wine is made with grapes that have intense fruit flavors and high natural acidity, which is why it is one of the most recognized names in Washington wines. The Genesis Cabernet Sauvignon's grapes were picked at mid-day and during the late afternoon to encourage fermentation. This cabernet opens with blueberry, cherry, strawberry, molasses, dried tobacco leaf, toast, and cream. The palate is rich and creamy with blackberry, vanilla, maple, cocoa, and spice flavors.
