Preparation Instructions: Stove Top: 1. Combine 1 cup of rice with 2 cups of water in a medium saucepan. 2. Bring contents to a boil. 3. Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for 45 minutes or until water is absorbed. 4. Remove from heat. Let stand covered for 5 minutes. 5. Fluff with fork and serve. Microwave (Cooking times may vary due to differences in microwaves): 1. Combine 1-3/4 cups of water and 1 cup of rice in a 2 quart microwave safe dish. 2. Cover and cook on high for 5 minutes. 3. Reduce power setting by 50% and cook for 20 minutes. 4. Let stand covered for 5 minutes. 5. Fluff with fork and serve. Rice cooker- use the same water-rice ratio as for the stove top instructions.
