Directions: The bean is a natural agricultural product. Despite the use of modern processing equipment, it is not always possible to remove all foreign materials. Before cooking, sort beans to remove small stones or soil. Rinse under running water. Cooking: Sort and rinse beans in a large pot. Soak by using 3 cups of water for each cup of dry beans. Let stand for 6 to 8 hours (or overnight). Cook in large pot by using 3 to 4 cups of water for each cup of desired soaked beans. Heat to boil then lower heat to simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours (or until desired tenderness).
