Dispose of properly. Cooking Method: Choose one of the following methods of cooking. For best results, wash and soak the rice for 20-30 minutes. For cooking add 2 times water to the quantity of rice. Open Pan: Rinse the soaked rice and add to boiling water. Cook uncovered for 12-15 minutes on medium flame. Drain and rinse the remaining water from the pan. Remove pan from the heat and leave for 5 minutes to cool. Closed Pan: Add the soaked rice and water in a pan and bring it to boil. Cook for 10 minutes, covered on low flame. Turn off the heat and leave for 5 minutes, still covered. Microwave: Cover the microwave safe bowl of rice and water. Place the bowl in a microwave and cook on high for 6 minutes or at the specified high temperature as per your microwave. To reheat put on high for 3-4 minutes.
