Directions
1. Bring 8 cups of water to a rolling boil. 2. Whisk in soup mix and 1 pound cooked shredded chicken.* Bring back to a boil. 3. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Be careful not to over boil. *One pound cooked shredded turkey can be substituted for the chicken. Soup may thicken when refrigerated and when reheating, add water if desired. Recipes variations. For a more brothy soup. Add extra water and prepare as directed above. Turkey White Bean and Noodle Soup. Prepare soup as directed above. At step #2, substitute 1 pound cooked ground turkey for chicken, add I (14.5-ounce) can of petite diced tomatoes and 1 (15-ounce) can of cannellini beans (drained) stir and bring back to boil. Continue with step #3.
