What’s inside: Kimhi-style sauce, rice, dried cabbage, Korean-style bbq sauce. What you need: 1 tsp. oil, 1/2 lb. skirt steak. 1-1/2 cups water. Optional Garnish: Sliced green onions, toasted sesame seeds. Ready in under 30 mins. 1. Prep Ingredients: Cook1 Tbsp. sesame seeds in a medium nonstick skillet on medium heat. Cook 3 to 4 min. or until seeds are golden brown, stirring frequently. Remove from pan. Slice 2 Tbsp. green onions. Cut steak into thin strips. 2. Now We're Cooking: Bring 1 cup water and Rice to boil in saucepan; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 19 to 22 min. or until all water is absorbed and rice is tender. Remove from heat. 3. Flavor Time: Bring cabbage and 1/2 cup water to boil in medium nonstick skillet; cook 3 min. Transfer to strainer; rinse with cold water. Drain well. Toss with Kimchi-Style Sauce. Refrigerate until ready to use. 4. Stir It Up: Heat oil in same skillet on medium-high heat. Add meat; cook 4 to 5 min. or until evenly browned, stirring occasionally. Drain meat; return to skillet. 5. The Finishing Touch: Add Korean-Style Sauce to meat; stir. Bring to boil, stirring frequently; cook 1 to 2 min. or until meat is done (165 degrees F) and sauce is slightly reduced. 6. All Together Now: Sprinkle meat mixture with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve with rice and cabbage mixture. Enjoy!
