Directions

Make it: 1. Prep ingredients: Slice 1/4 cup scallions. 2. Stir it up: Combine wild rice, vegetable blend and broth in large stock pot; bring to boil over medium-high heat. 3. Now we're cooking!: Whisk contents of seasoning blend with cold water in small bowl until blended. Gradually whisk seasoning blend into boiling soup; return to boil, whisking constantly. Reduce heat to low; simmer 20 min., stirring occasionally. 4. All together now: add chicken and half & half; stir. Return to boil on medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 min. Or until chicken reaches 165 degrees F. 5. The finishing touch: season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish each bowl with sliced scallions before serving. For food safety and best quality, follow cooking instructions. Cook thoroughly until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer.
