Product Details
Est. 2002. Our Bench Lands pinot noir is a blend of clonal types from select vineyards whose shared heritage is terroir. All of these sources have soils deposited through the millenniums along the banks of the Umpqua River. The rocks and sand comprising this complex geology originates in the three colliding mountain ranges that created this drainage, the Cascades, Coastal Range and the Klamaths. We find an earthy complexity, spiciness and minerality balanced by generous acidity and round tannins. Terry & Sue Brandborg handcrafted this exceptional wine exclusively using Umpqua Valley grapes sourced from the finest vineyards. www.brandborgwine.com.
