Store in a cool dry place. Cooking instructions: Servings - 1 - 2 - 4. Steel cut oats: 1/4 cup - 1/2 cup - 1 cup. Water - 3/4 cup - 1 1/2 cup - 3 cups. Salt (optional) - dash - dash - 1/4 tsp. Stove top: 1. Add steel cut oats to water, bring to a boil, stirring constantly. 2. Reduce to low heat, cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until desired consistency. Stir occasionally. Microwave instructions: Heating times per serving - 1 - 2 - 4. Use a narrow, tall microwave safe quart container. Microwave on high for - 2 minutes - 3 minutes - Not recommended. Microwave on high for - 3 minutes - 4 minutes. Let sit covered for - 1-2 minutes - 1-2 minutes. Stir and enjoy.
