Directions

Preparation: In refrigerator, soak 16 oz. (454g) of salted fish in 6 cups (1.5 liters) of fresh water for 8 hours, changing the water three times. Cook according to your favorite recipe. Longer soaking or more frequent water changing will further decrease the salt content. Keep refrigerated. Store at 32-36 degrees F.
