Directions

Ready to cook. Cook to an internal temperature of 155 degrees F. Oven cooking instructions: Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Remove all packaging materials and place shoulder picnic, fat side up, on rack in shallow roasting pan. Add 1 cup water to pan and cover tightly with aluminum foil. Heat 20 to 25 minutes per pound until internal temperature reaches 155 degrees F. Remove picnic from oven. Let stand, covered, 10 to 15 minutes before carving. Keep refrigerated.
