Directions
Just add water. Cooks in 20 minutes. 1. Bring 8 cups of water to a rolling boil. 2. Whisk in soup mix. Bring back to a boil. 3. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Be careful not to over boil. Soup may thicken when refrigerated. When reheating, add water if desired. Recipe variations: Creamy Potato Bacon Soup: Prepare soup as directed above. Add 1/2 cup cooked bacon crumbles to soup mix at step #2. Continue with step #3. Sausage Potato Soup: Prepare soup as directed above, adding 1 cup of your favorite precooked diced smoked sausage and 1/4 cup finely chopped onion at step #2. Continue with step #3. Before serving, stir in 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
