Cooking Instructions: Place 1/2 cup of rolled oats into a saucepan with 1-1/4 cups of water. Add a pinch of salt and bring to the boil. Reduce to a medium to low heat and cook, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes or until oats have thickened to a creamy texture. Use more or less water to vary the thickness if preferred. Remove from heat and allow to cool before serving. Serves 1. Place 1/2 cup of rolled oats in to a microwave safe bowl with 3/4 cup of water and a pinch of salt. Cover and cook on high for 1/2 minute, stir, then cook for a further 1 minute on high. Stir and allow to cool before serving. Serves 1.
