Peel label for full instructions Directions: 1. Shake well for 30 seconds and pour in where you normally add coolant. 2. Leak will stop in 1-3 minutes after engine reaches operating temperature. For cooling systems up to 21 ltrs/22 qts / 12 cylinders capacity (any cars, vans, light trucks) use the standard K-Seal (8 fl oz / 236 ml). For small cooling systems less than 5 litres / 5 quarts, e.g. motorcycles, add a half bottle of standard K-Seal but ensure that the contents are well mixed first. For larger cooling systems (Heavy Duty vehicles, buses etc) use K-Seal HD (16 fl oz / 472 ml or 2 bottles of 8 fl oz K-Seal). K-Seal mixes with all types of antifreeze/coolant including waterless coolants. Also works with plain water. Contains no sodium silicate. 1. Shake the bottle vigorously for 30 seconds and pour in where you us top up the coolant. It does not matter if you add K-Seal to a cold or hot engine but care when working with a hot engine as the cooling will be under pressure. 2. Once K-Seal is in the cooling system let the engine idle until it reaches operating temperature so that coolant is flowing freely around the cooling system. The K-Seal flows together with the coolant and when it reaches the leak will then flow through the hole or crack and make a repair. 3. After K-Seal has made a repair it is not necessary to leave it in the system because the repair is permanent. You can either choose to replace the contents of the cooling system or leave the original K-Seal mixture in the system. If you have an over-pressurising cooling system then try to bypass the expansion tank. Either add K-Seal via the top hose of the radiator or drain some coolant, premix this with the K-Seal and add it back to the system. For heater core repairs ensure the heating is turned on. If in doubt consult a qualified technician. K-Seal will fix most leaks in the cooling system and has a high success rate.
