Installation instructions: LedgerLOK should be installed using an impact driver or high torque ½ inches variable speed drill (minimum 18V if cordless). Choose the proper length fastener so that the threads fully engage the rim material. Bring the washer flush to the ledger-do not countersink. Not for use in concrete or masonry.

LedgerLOK is engineered to attach the ledger board to the rim board of a house without predrilling. Guaranteed corrosion resistance: LedgerLOK is guaranteed not to rust, streak or corrode for the life of the project. The coating on this fastener has been tested in wood treatment chemicals, such as ACQ, and found to provide equivalent protection to code approved hot-dipped galvanized coatings. LedgerLOK is not recommended for use in saltwater applications (within 1,000 feet). For applications other than the one listed above, a Professional Engineer (PE) may be consulted to determine proper connection design including the number and location of fasteners to meet local code and specific load requirements. Fastening pattern for attaching deck ledger to rim joist using ledgerLOK. Maximum span between ledger and beam: 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18. LedgerLOK spacing in inches: 24, 18, 14, 12, 10, 9, 8.
