Directions for Coloring Eggs: Use hard boiled, clean, white eggs. Add 1 teaspoon of gel food color to a small cup; Add 1/2 cup of hot tap water (120 degrees) and 1 tsp. vinegar; Stir until gel is completely dissolved (About 5 minutes); Submerge egg for 4 minutes; Carefully remove egg from solution and let sit on drying rack until completely dry (About 15 minutes).
