Cooking Instructions: 1 Servings: 1 cup water; 1/2 cup oats; dash of salt (optional). 2 Servings: 1-3/4 cups water; 1 cup oats; 1/8 tsp of salt (optional). 3 Servings: 2-1/2 cups water; 1-1/2 cups oats; 1/8 tsp of salt (optional). Stove Top: 1. Boil water and salt. 2. Stir in oats. 3. Cook about 5 minutes over medium heat; stir occasionally. 4. Allow to stand for 1-2 minutes to thicken. Microwave (one serving): 1. Combine water, salt and oats in a medium microwave-safe bowl. 2. Microwave high for 2-1/2 to 3 minutes stir before serving. Allow to stand for 1 - 2 minutes to thicken. Microwave ovens vary.
