Directions: 1. Wash headlight lens to remove surface dirt. Tip: use making tape to protect surrounding paint surfaces. 2. Apply Lens Clarifying Compound to a cotton cloth and rub over entire lens using firm pressure. Buff with a clean terry cloth. Restore only one lens at a time. If lens turns clear, proceed to step 3 below. If lens is not clear after using the Lens Clarifying Compound, proceed to step 2a below: a. Apply Spray Lubricant to the green polishing pad (No. 1) and directly to lens. Use pads on only those areas requiring restoration. Begin rubbing pad No. 1, using firm pressure, in a back and forth motion over the lens until much of the oxidation is removed. Use the Spray Lubricant as necessary to keep lens and pad wet. Flip to the tan side of the polishing pad (No. 2). Rub back and forth in opposite direction (90 degrees) of the green pad for 1 minute, keeping the pad and lens surface wet using Spray Lubricant. b. Using the teal side (No. 3) of the second pad, repeat process, in opposite direction of previous pad side, for 1 minute. Flip to the purple side (No. 4) and repeat process, in opposite direction of previous pad side, for 1 minute. c. Dry lens with a cotton towel. Apply lens clarifying compound and rub thoroughly until the lens turns clear. Let compound dry to a haze and buff with a cotton cloth. Lens Clarifying Compound can also be applied by machine with a foam pad at 1500 rpm. 3. Important: Restore both lenses before opening the Lens Base Coat Wipe. Once pouch containing the Lens Base Coat Wipe. Using the plastic glove (included in kit), quickly coat both lenses with the wipe. Once dry, immediately follow with the Lens Sealing Wipe, which helps prevent future yellowing. Coating will cure within 24 hours; however, vehicle can be driven immediately after application. Note: Headlight lens clarity will dramatically improve with proper use of this kit. Cracked, pitted, lenses water fogged from the inside or severely weathered lenses may not return to the original condition. Keep from freezing.
