Microwave directions: 1. Combine oatmeal and water or milk in bowl. 2. Cook according to chart or until oatmeal begins to thicken. Due to differences in microwave ovens, cooking times are approximate. 3. Stir in your choice of sugar or sweetener and let stand 1 minute. Oatmeal: 1/2 serving - 1/4 cup. 1 serving - 1/2 cup. 2 servings - 1 cup. Water/milk:* 1/2 serving - 1/2 cup. 1 serving - 1 cup. 2 servings - 1 3/4 cup. Suggested sugar** 1/2 serving - 2 teaspoons. 1 serving - 4 teaspoons. 2 servings - 3 tablespoons. Cook time: 1/2 serving - 45 to 75 sec. 1 serving - 1 to 2 min. 2 servings - 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 min.
