Directions

Yields 12 cookies. You will need: 1 egg yolk. 1 teaspoon water. 3 tablespoons butter, softened. Baking instructions: 1 Prep: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Empty cookie mix into a medium bowl. Break up any lumps. 2 Mix: Stir egg yolk, water and butter into cookie mix until dough forms. Drop rounded teaspoons of dough 3 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. 3 Bake: Bake in center of oven for 12-14 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool for 1 minute then remove with spatula to cooling rack. Note: for a crunchier cookie, bake for an additional 1-2 minutes. For a softer cookie, bake 1-2 minutes less than suggested time.
