Directions

Easy Smoked Sausage Skillet (pictured). Heat olive oil and crushed garlic, stir in sausage slices and cook until browned. Add pepper, onion, broccoli, chicken broth and tomato sauce; simmer for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender and liquid is absorbed. In the meantime, cook rice according to package instructions. Stir rice into the skillet, sprinkle with cheese and serve. Always Heat Thoroughly: Pan Fry: Cut sausage into 1/2-inch slices and place in a large skillet. Cook and stir over medium-high heat 4-5 minutes or until lightly browned. Grill: Grill sausage over medium heat 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned, turning frequently. Stove Top: Add sausage rope to 1 cup of boiling water. Reduce heat; simmer 8-10 minutes or until hot. Brown, if desired.
