Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and or poultry. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cooking Instructions: Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill. Open package and place tri tip seasoned side down on the grill. Cook for 4 minutes. Flip tri tip over, turn down grill to low & close lid & continue cooking for 70 to 90 mins., turning occasionally, until product reaches an internal temp. of 160 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer. Oven: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Open package and place tri-tip onto a roasting pan. Bake for 60 to 75 minutes until product reaches an internal temp. of 160 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer. Carefully remove from grill or oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Perishable. Keep refrigerated.
