Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated. Keep paw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including gutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cooking Instructions: Slow Cooker (Preferred Method): (1) Remove chicken from package and place in slow cooker. (2) Pour the vegetables over the top of the chicken. (3) Mix the seasoning packet with 1 cup of water and pour seasoning solution over the vegetables. (4) Cook on the high setting for 5 to 5.5 hours, or cook on the low setting for 8 to 9 hours (Always use a calibrated meat thermometer to ensure that chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees F). Conventional Oven: (1) Preheat oven to 350 degree F. (2) Place chicken in a 4-6 quart oven safe pot or 8 x 8 x 2 oven safe baking dish. (3) Combine seasoning packet with 1 cup water and pour into baking dish. (4) Remove vegetables from bag and evenly disperse throughout the dish. (5) Cover with lid or foil and cook for 1.5 to 2 hours. Verify product reaches an internal temperature of 165 degree F, as measured by a food thermometer, and allow product to rest for at least 3 minutes. Multicooker: (1) Spray pot with non-stick cooking spray. (2) Mix seasoning with 1 cup of water to make a sauce. (3) Place chicken in the bottom of the pot and top with vegetables. (4) Add 0.5 cup water, stir, then add sauce. (5) Pressure cook set on normal heat, high pressure. Valve closed, for 25 minutes. When the cook is complete, carefully release the steam. (6) Verify that the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees, as measured by food thermometer. Do not eat raw or undercooked chicken or vegetables. Keep refrigerated. Freezing not recommended.
