Stovetop Directions: In a medium saucepan, heat 1-1/2cups water and 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine to a boil (melt butter/margarine completely). Stir in contents of stuffing mix pouch. Remove from heat, cover and let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve. Microwave Directions: In 1-1/2-quart microwave safe bowl, mix contents of stuffing mix pouch with 12 cups hot water and 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, cut into pieces. Cover, and microwave on HIGH 5 to 6 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve. Caution: Bowl will be hot. Because microwaves cook differently, times are approximate. Makes 6 (1/2-cup) servings. Note: refrigerate any leftover stuffing.
